I describe my art as a way of making a statement. The inspiration to create happens during people watching observing both style and attitude of people. My portraits focus both on style & attitude ; which I believe is the authentic expression. My portraits focus on presence , confidence, and individuality expressed through what a person wears and how they own it. I’m attracted to bold prints, fabrics, textures, and color.
I work with a mix of paints layered with oils on top to create rich textures and smooth , refined, details. I use portraits , design fabrics, and live models. The canvas is layered with different paints to arrive at the colors I desire.
